- Selected by the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association
and the School of the Arts to represent quality in music education
via ensemble outreach. Performs in Seattle/Tacoma area. - SOTA String Quartet won Commencement Bay Solo & Ensemble competition
in January, 2008. Will compete at State level in April, 2008.
- Raised $1,000 for travel to Washington D.C. (for an orchestral tour with the Tacoma Youth Symphony in April, 2008) by performing 6 solo and 2 ensemble pieces in the University of Puget Sound's Kilworth Chapel (February 2, 2008). Thanks to everyone who contributed!
- Won 2nd runner up, Commencement Bay Solo & Ensemble competition, solo violin division in January, 2008.
- Hired as a paid musician for multiple string ensemble/quartet gigs.
- Hired as a paid musician at the Lakewood Playhouse “Pirates of Penzance.”
- Awarded $500 merit based scholarship to Kairos Lyceum.
- Performed at Benaroya Hall.
- Concert Master or Assistant Concert Master, Tacoma Youth Symphony Association.
- 12 years of private piano and violin lessons.
- 10 years as a Violinist in the Tacoma Youth Symphony.
